Jimmy Lepi and Larry Mitchell established Mitchelines in 1981. The first Creno{s Pizza, originally called Mitchelines after co-owner Larry Mitchell, was located in Nashport, Ohio. In 1987, Adam Mitchell, Larry{s son, bought out his father{s half of the business. Mitchell and Lepi opened a second location in Dresden, Ohio in 1989. The partnership then dissolved in 1990 with Adam Mitchell purchasing the remaining half of the business; this is when the company became known as Creno{s Pizza.
