Baptist Bible Academy had its birth as a ministry of Lakes Pond Baptist Church in September of 1977. It has been incorporated into our church ministry as a result of our Biblical convictions and not simply as an alternative to secular education. We are firmly convinced that Christian education has its foundation in the Word of God. Deuteronomy 6:6-7 gives us this precedent: “These words, which I (God) command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: and thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children…” It is our endeavor to provide our students with a solid Biblical foundation in addition to a comprehensive education.One benefit of a Christian school education is that it furthers the spiritual training the parents have begun at home. The Christian school is an extension of the training the children have received at home. We also realize that without the cooperation of the parents, Christian education is not possible. We covet your prayers and trust that together we may build lives that will count for eternity.
