I{ve had a dual career in photography; fine art and commercial work. My training took me to the Maine Photographic Workshop to study with Ryszard Horowitz, Sally Mann and Joyce Tenneson. During academic education at the School of Art and Design at Purchase College, I studied the masters and art history with William Suttle, Julian Levy and Irving Sandler. I began my professional career at a full-service commercial art studio. There, I trained with veteran studio photographers and traveled on photo assignments for corporate art directors and graphic designers. Once, on location in Alaska, we trekked a glacier to photograph corporate personnel using snowmobiles to service remote customer outposts.
