Lunsford Veterinary Services, Inc. was founded by Dr. Michael Lunsford in the summer of 1997 as a strictly mobile, large animal practice serving the Northwest Arkansas region. In 1999, he was joined by his wife, Dr. Niki Lunsford, who began providing part time assistance with the growing small animal patient load. With the birth of our son, Thomas, in 2001, our “family practice” was also born. Dr. Niki came on board full time to care for our son and the ever growing small animal side of our practice. In October of 2002, Lunsford Veterinary Services, Inc. opened the doors of Lunsford Veterinary Care Center, their new full service small animal hospital in Tontitown, Arkansas.Lunsford Veterinary Care Center maintains two full time veterinarians and one part-time veterinarian. Doctors are focused on their area of interest to ensure that patients receive the best care possible. Dr. Michael is dedicated to performing the large animal services while Dr. Niki and Dr. Amy Young provide our small animal services. In addition to our doctors, we retain a caring and enthusiastic staff who genuinely shares our passion for animals and their owners. Our diversity places us in the unique position of treating most domestic animals that you may keep as pets, including, but not limited to dogs, cats, cattle, horses, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas, even a few pigs!It is important to us to develop relationships with you and your pets, companions, and/or livestock to ensure a mutual level of trust and respect so that you can be confident about our recommendations and the quality of care we wish to provide.
