About

Under the direction of Restoration House Ministries in New Hampshire, and with support from Traders Point Christian Church in Indiana, Pastor Dave Johnson and his family packed up their lives and moved from Indiana to Connecticut in hopes of starting a new church in 1999. They were joined by Tom and Tricia Cater from Illinois, as well as families who had been a part of the former Park Avenue Christian Church in Bloomfield, CT. Together they laid the foundation for Colonial Point Christian Church (CPCC).In early 2000, after months of preparation, the CPCC team mailed 200,000 invitation postcards to the community, resulting in the first Worship service held on March 5, 2000 in the auditorium of Timothy Edwards Middle School (TEMS) in South Windsor, CT.Since our launch Colonial Point Christian Church has truly become a community that honors God, reaches out in love and grows in our relationship with Him.
