Dr. Raymond Chan has practiced Chinese medicine for 45 years, and is a renowned specialist in the treatment of infertility and gynecological disorders. He was born into a family with a medical tradition. In 1968, he graduated from the Medical School of Shantou University and practiced internal medicine for several years in the state-owned Western China Hospital. He later went abroad to specialize in Chinese medicine at the Macau Institute of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. He was subsequently appointed to teach and supervise clinical medicine upon graduation. Dr. Chan has a strong education and professional training in both Western and Chinese medicine. He advocates a clinical practice of the combining theories of Chinese medicine with the modern science of biomedicine.
