About

Christine Hanson, president of Chris for Hair, first began her career in Alternative Hair in 1980, when she opened her first hair replacement salon after losing her own hair as a result of radiation therapy for a brain tumor. After graduating from Moler Barber College in San Francisco,  she quickly put her artistic skills to work and has created the perfect fusion of style, texture and fine craftsmanship.  After more than 30 years of successful alternative hair designing, taking numerous advanced courses in hair replacement systems for men and women, Chris has reached the pinnacle of success as evidence by her company being named hair replacement Salon of the Year.  Chris{s compassion for people has lead her to specialize in Cranial Prosthetics for patients who have hair loss due to chemotherapy, radiation, burns, alopecia areata and more.  As a member of the American Hair Loss Council, Chris has become a part of a World Wide Group of Professional Hair Replacement Therapists and Plastic Surgeons, who offer ethical services and products and provide unbiased education for people suffering from hair loss.
