On October 18, 2008, Pamela had a heart attack. 5 days later she underwent 5-way bypass surgery, followed by a 4-day drug induced coma. The first time they got her up to walk, she collapsed and coded blue. They returned her to life support and a coma for 4 more days.On the 5th day I walked into the hospital and she was sitting up in a chair waiting for me.That’s when Pamela became a miracle.After a 6 week recovery at home, she has returned to the shop on a limited schedule.Now, just 3 months after a heart attack and 5-way bypass, Pamela is back designing the most beautiful flowers and she has a new appreciation for each day.Pamela is a miracle.
