One of our main goals is to creatively help raise money to replace the existing Palm Springs animal shelters which was built in 1961. Palm Springs needs a true NO Kill Shelter, and we plan to help provide our city with badly needed and long overdue community service. The current shelter is grossly overcrowded and in desperate need of expansion. A new facility will allow our great city of Palm Springs to provide low cost vaccination clinics, spay & neutering services, more space for the animals, a dog run, and best of all, a local adoption center. The wonderful news is our city has already collected over 6 million toward a new shelter, thanks to a large grant from our city, but the city is still about 1 million short toward their financial goal.
