I grew up in the Dallas, TX area and have always been in love with dogs. In high school, after I came home with a pit-bull mix puppy, my father insisted I take the dog to obedience training. This was my first experience with dog obedience and I found it fun & exciting!After high school, I went to college and attained a B.A. in psychology while working part time at a veterinary clinic. When college was completed, I decided I still wanted to work with dogs. I then took a trainers course through The Professional Dog Training Center.
