Anna Acey -Robertson was raised in the heart of the central ward in public housing. While being a pillar of the community for many years, she has always found joy in helping others. She worked in the Newark public school systems for 25 years before retiring in February 2013. Anna has now found yet another way to help her community. On July 1, 2013 Anna opened “Ac Affordable School Uniforms & Things” to the public. This is the 1st school uniform store to open in the central ward. There was a need for an affordable uniform store in the area, due to the demand that uniforms are to be worn in all of Newark schools.
