Child{s Path Preschool is an affiliate of the David Lawrence Center. The preschool was originally established in the 1980’s in order to provide Center employees discounted and affordable child care services. Child{s Path is now open to the public and has grown to become one of the most well respected, full-service preschool programs in Collier County serving children ages 2 – 5 years old. Child’s Path is a 5 day-a-week preschool program providing kindergarten readiness and teaching age appropriate social skills, behavioral tools and prevention activities.Child{s Path is a place where children come to play, learn and shine. Our goal is to ensure a nurturing environment where children can flourish both academically and socially. At Child{s Path we feel that the key to a child{s success is balance. While children have a great capacity for learning, they are still children who should enjoy part of their day running, laughing and playing with their friends.Child{s Path sets to achieve the highest level of standards and partners with a variety of local organizations such as the Department of Children and Families, Collier County Health Department, Early Learning Coalition, Naples Alliance for Children and Collier County Public Schools to ensure all standards are met or exceeded. In addition, all lead teachers are required to have a Child Development Associates (CDA) certification and all staff are trained in infant and child CPR.Child{s Path does often have a waiting list.
