About

The Middlebury Public Library is staffed by four full-time and four part-time employees and numerous volunteers. The Library’s hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10:00 am – 5:00 pm, Tuesday and Thursday 10:00 am – 8:00 pm, Saturday 10:00 am – 2:00 pm, and closed on Sundays and most major holidays.Present holdings include more than 67,000 books, periodicals, films (DVD), CDs, Video games, Kindles, activity bags, puzzles, etc. In addition, the Library is connected to an extensive inter-library-loan system that will allow you to borrow any book in the state of Connecticut. The Library has special collections, including colleges/careers, parenting, large print books and a Connecticut History and Genealogy Room. The Library offers family passes to area museums that are available for checkout. The Library also hosts programs, lectures and seminars which are available to the public free of charge.
