Welcome to another fanstastic year at Rainbow Christian Academy.  I am privilaged to be serving you as your Elementary and Middle School Principal here at Rainbow Christian Academy.  My career started at Rainbow in 1985 as an aftercare staff member and has progressed over the years as a preschool teacher, elementary teacher, middle school teacher and currently administrator, as of 1997.  I currently hold a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Human Resources and a Master of Science degree in Education as well as certificates in Administration, Guidance Counseling and Pre-school Director.  My husband and I have three children that have either gone through the entire Rainbow program or are currently attending (Grades 5 & 6).  I definitely feel this is where God has led me and I pray I can be a partner with you as we invest in the lives of God{s most precious gift, children.Rainbow is a non-denominational Christian school founded to partner with families who want their children to receive an excellent academic education combined with a Biblical worldview in every subject.  We desire to offer a safe, nurturing, family enviroment where families and faculty can partner together in bringing up the whole child in a setting where "Christ is Honored and Children are Loved".  Rainbow is committed to preparing students for advaced education as well as Christian lives of leadership and service.  We envision a student body made up of individuals who love the Lord with all their heart, soul, and strength, and reflect his character by loving others.Rainbow Christian Academy not only offers a solid academic education but provides many programs, courses and opportunities which together nurture and develop each sudents capacity and capablity, developing the "Whole Child".  Music, Instruments Lessons, Art Classes, Dance Classes and Sports Teams are among the activities that students may choose from.  For those students that stay afterschool, a full day program is offered with supervised homework time, play time on our beautiful, shaded playground or sports time.Rainbow Christian Academy (K-8th Grade) and Children{s Rainbow Day School (2 year olds-K4) is fully accredited through FACCS (Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools) by NCPSA (National Council for Private School Accreditaion) and recognized by Dade County Public Schools.  Many of our teachers have been a part of this ministry for many years and have dedicated their lives to Christian education.  Our teacher turnover rate is very low, enabling our families to build long-lasting relationships with dedicated Christian educators.As stated in our philosophy, we believe every child can be successful if given the appropriate foundation and tools.   By  forming a partnership between the home and Christ directed educators, academic training, social development and God given talents will be developed.  Thank you for choosing us to partner with you in the education of your most precious gift.  My door is always open.
