In 2001, Nancy Gardner opened the Mendocino Jewelry Studio which features Gardner{s work along with a growing selection of other local accomplished jewelers, painters, ceramicists, and stained glass artists. As Gardner says "to exhibit work in my shop, first one has to be local, second one has to be good".A longtime connection with the Mendocino Coast arts community and having been a member of North Coast Artists for 15 years provides her with a vast and varied array of work to display. "This area has an amazing amount of very talented people. I am honored to have a gallery where I can exhibit some of their work".Visitors to Mendocino Jewelry Studio find a complete jewelers bench, and most likely, Gardner at work before it.
