My name is Lisa Porter (that{s me on the left), and I have been in business for 25 years. The Thrifty Bookworm first opened its doors on Alexandria Drive in July, 1981. In August, 2004, we made the move to Allendale Drive. Our new location is almost twice as big, and much brighter. Come take a look! We are the largest used paperback store in Central Kentucky. We specialize in paperback fiction. We have excellent selections of paperback romances (of all kinds), mysteries (of all kinds), science fiction/fantasy and `westerns. Are we really "thrifty?" You bet! All books are one-half their original cover price. In addition, we have a large selection of bargain books priced between 50 cents and a dollar.
