General Transmission Repair is a family-owned, locally operated auto repair business serving Kent & surrounding Seattle Metro area customers since 1988. Back in 1988, Mark and I lost everything we owned due to a fire in our rented house. We were thinking we{d just rent again, but were encouraged to buy a house, so we did. Since it was a period of new beginnings, we decided to start our own transmission repair company & run it out of the garage of our new home.
