WHITNEY SNYDER earned a Bachelor of Interior Design at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville. An internship with PARKCO ARCHITECTS led to a position upon graduating where she designed and drafted construction documents for residential and small-scale commercial projects. In 2006 she took a sabbatical abroad to study for the licensing exam and gain insight into Italian art, culture, history and design. Upon her return stateside, she took a design consultant position for the WINTHROP ROCKEFELLER INSTITUTE where she oversaw the selection of furniture, fixtures and materials for their lodge, restaurant and mixed use facility. She received her interior design license the same year.CARRIE PARKER received a Bachelor of Interior Design from the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville. While pursuing her degree, Carrie became an intern at COLLIERS, TURLEY, MARTIN, TUCKER in St. Louis, MO, where she designed and drafted small-scale commercial projects. After graduation, she accepted an offer at TAKE US FOR GRANITE in Lowell, AR. She acted as interior designer for residential and commercial spaces, purchasing manager and sales person. Carrie quickly learned the operations of a small business as well as the importance of developing close relationships with clients and vendors. This job eventually lead her to a position at BENCHMARK GROUP in Rogers, AR where she designed and drafted construction documents for large-scale commercial spaces. While working at BENCHMARK GROUP, Carrie was presented with another appealing job opportunity, which took her to HARRISON FRENCH AND ASSOCIATES in Bentonville, AR where she designed, drafted and created 3D models of many small-scale commercial projects.?Having both relocated to Hot Springs, Whitney and Carrie have been anxiously awaiting the opportunity to bring impeccable design to the Spa City area…ergo the birth of SPARK CREATIVE LLC.?
