Fabric Impressions was established in 1987 as a sewing shop. We had sewing classes for teens and adults, did custom sewing, alterations and upholstery work and sold fabrics and some ready made products. In 2000 we moved to our current location on Hilo{s Bayfront, expanded our Made in Hawaii ready made product line and have evolved into a quilt shop specializing in tropical and oriental fabrics and patterns. We have a wonderful classroom with Elna sewing machines and sergers for our students to use. On May 31, 2014 we will celebrate our 27th year in business.
