Galesburg Christian Church is a part of the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ based in the Restoration Movement (a.k.a. the Stone-Campbell Movement). We have no denominational structure, and rely on Scripture for all matters of faith and practice. Each congregation maintains autonomous spiritual leadership through the oversight of elders, but encourages fellowship and service amongst its churches, both locally and on a national basis. The Restoration Movement has birthed one of the largest indigenous Christian groups in America. Today, the Christian Church/Churches of Christ fellowship is one of the fastest growing segments of the Christian faith in the United States.
