Bruce Terri Catering & Drive-In has enjoyed a long, rich history in the river valley. The restaurant{s founders, Bill and Peggy Shopfner, began the restaurant in 1961 after purchasing the Fort Smith restaurant, The Frostee. Originally located across from what is now Central Mall, the Shopfner{s decided to relocate the restaurant to Barling after city planners decided to widen Rogers Avenue in preparation for the new mall.
