Aalfs, Evans & Co., LLP is not your grandfather’s accounting firm. Our founders, Dan Aalfs and Gary Evans, both came from backgrounds as senior IRS agents. Dan purchased a local firm, Humboldt Bookkeeping, and converted it to a certified public accountancy office in 1974. Gary joined him shortly thereafter. 40 years later we are five partners strong, with a team of experienced professionals and support staff. We believe that staying current on the multitude of fronts demanded by today’s rapidly changing business, tax, and accounting landscapes is best achieved in a group practice with a team approach.
