As a European, Bruno Girardi has a special love for cooking and enjoying a good meal. Bruno was born in France, and spent his school years in Africa and Argentina. In his late teens, Bruno moved to Italy to spend more time with his father. He learned many family Italian recipes while living in Pavia, just outside of Milano.Bruno moved to the Seattle area in 1995 to help his brother, Patrick, with is restaurant in Edmonds called Ciao Italia. For five years he worked alongside Patrick and helped open Girardi{s Osteria in December of 1999. In early 2000, Bruno opened Stella Mia in the Country Village, Bothell. The restaurant was named after his newly born daughter, Stella.
