The Mission of Kiddie City is to provide a clean, safe, nurturing environment for YOUR children by having a qualified staff, using an age appropriate curriculumand respecting the uniqueness of each child. We have been servicing the Dunedin and surrounding areas since 1983The staff members of the Kiddie City share a common philosophy that children learn best when they can actively interact with their environment. We also share a common commitment to helping each child develop fully, physically, socially, emotionally and cognitively.All Staff members are experienced early childhood educators. All Participate in a continuous program of in-service education and studies for professional advancement in order to remain alert to the ever-changing needs of today’s families and to the findings of current research. The school is open to all children, regardless of race, nationality or creed, who may benefit from our type of program. The child must be at least 2 years of age (but does not have to be toilet trained) and must not be over kindergarten age. Each child is valued as a unique individual with a particular pattern growth and manner of acquiring knowledge and skills.All that we expect of the children is that they come to school, be themselves and have respect for others.What we expect from parents and guardians is that you read the operating procedures in the handbook and in supplemental notes and newsletters that we may send you from time to time, and that you feel free to be a part of the school, offering suggestions, comments and constructive criticisms
