About

The Corrova name is a familiar one in Columbus, and has long been linked with the proud and proven heritage of fine Italian cuisine since early 1929. Papa Pete and Mama Philomena emigrated from the sunny shores of Italy shortly after the turn of the century. Their fine Italian ristorante first was located in the heart of old "Flytown" on Goodale Street. Freeways and progressive inner city planning in "Flytown" area forced Papa Pete and Mama Philomena to move their successful operation to the far east side of town.Another historic family milestone occured on March 1, 1955 when their son Jimmy and his wife, Dolores, opend their first ristorante at the corner of Broad and James. The apparent success of their famour Italian food and good hospitality continued to grow when Jimmy and Dolores opened their second facility at Livingston and Beechwood Aves. in the year 1962.
