Nicknamed Ally by her father, Aleka is a native of Columbia, South Carolina. Aleka graduated from the Culinary Institute of Education in New York City with a degree in culinary arts and management. She returned home to Columbia to reconnect with her family and friends and to follow her dream: to open a bakery of her own.Cooking and baking runs in her family, and Aleka hopes to keep the tradition alive by using the recipes passed down from her mother, grandmothers, and aunts and uncles to delight the city of Columbia.
