Christ Lutheran Church was established as a mission congregation in Columbia, Howard County, Maryland in 1992. Our nearly 100 members come from all over the area and many different walks of life.Our church is led by Pastor Jeff Samelson, who came to us in 2000 from the seminary (Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary). Before deciding to study for the public ministry, Pastor Samelson worked overseas in the U.S. Foreign Service. He and his wife Charlene have two children, Joel and Rachel (click on the picture to enlarge). The class is designed for non-members to explore, without obligation, what we believe as found in the Bible.
