Citizen Canine! I’m Jolie Frabotta, the proud proprietor of Chicago’s first cage less boarding and daycare facility for dogs. Owning CC is truly a dream come true for me! I have a huge passion for animals and have four amazing dogs of my own who tend to keep me on my toes! Three Chihuahuas, Jayden, Joshua and Chi Chi and one black lab, Belle... They are the reason why I feel it’s important that all of our pets be treated like they are part of our CC family.We are 100% cage-free. Since 1995, Citizen Canine has worked at innovating the healthy style of care that has become our unique hallmark. We have perfected a humane and fun way for your pet to socialize and energize. Our focus is placed on an enriched, controlled environment providing mental and physical stimulation for your pet. We pride ourselves on not being like everyone else and are committed to providing you the peace of mind that your dog is being cared for in a loving, comfortable and safe environment.I am personally involved with the care of your pet and diligently participate and oversee all day to day activities. My staff is also unique in that they must undergo a thorough training process which includes a Pet first aid and CPR certification by the American Red Cross. CC is also supervised 24/7/365. We always do our best to meet any of your pets special needs or requests, providing comprehensive care is what we do best! We strive to make Citizen Canine feel like it is your pet’s ‘home away from home’.
