For over 20 years, VETSS has provided emergency veterinary care to Charlottesville and the surrounding areas. In our new state-of-the-art facility, we are able to offer 24 hours care for our patients. We work closely with referring veternarians to ensure superior and compassionate care for all of our patients.We do examine and treat small exotic species, unlike any other emergency clinics in the area. VETSS has been providing small animal veterinary emergency services to Charlottesville and the surrounding region for over 20 years. In 2009, we moved to our new state-of-the art facility on Airport Road, and work in association with Va Veterinary Specialists to provide continous expert care for all our patients. We insure that all copies of medical records, radiographs and other pertinent findings are provided to your general practice so that together we can provide complete care for your pet. Our services include in/out pt surgery and medicine, oxygen and trauma therapy, blood transfusions, full in-house lab, pharmacy, wound repair, fluid therapy. Our medical equipment includes digital radiology, ECG and cardiac consultations, ultrasound, mulitparameter anesthesia monitoring with blood pressure, pulse oximetry, respiratory ventilator.
