My name is Cat Thrasher, the creator and sole photographer of Fab 5 Day. The motivation for creating this event was born out of my desire to fuse old-school formal portrait sessions with modern custom photography in an effort to provide an easy portrait experience and greater access to contemporary family portraiture.Photography has been at the forefront of change in this information age. As one of the fastest-changing fields, the portrait industry has gone through major changes, almost yearly, since the digital SLR camera became the go-to camera of choice for professionals.
