Dr. David Wichnoski has lived in Charlotte since 1974. He attended local schools and received his B.S. degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. After graduating from the Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Wichnoski performed residency training at William Dorn Veterans Hospital in Columbia, SC. This was a multidisciplinary approach to eye care which exposed him to many other areas of medicine and has prepared him well to become your primary care eye doctor.After completing his residency training in 1997, Dr. Wichnoski started Spectrum Eye Care the same year. In addition, he worked part-time at University Eye Associates for about 1 1/2 years.
