Witherle Memorial Library serves the public in the town of Castine and its environs by providing diverse informational, recreational, and educational resources for all age groups. The Library maintains a collection of print, non-print, and electronic resources, accessing such resources elsewhere as needed. Trained staff provides support in the use of all resources. Witherle Memorial Library cooperates with local and statewide agencies to increase the range and cost-effectiveness of library services. The Library also offers a meeting place for discussion, non-profit groups, and library-related gatherings.
