Place the walker in front of the chair so that you have a good firm grip on it and enough leverage to lift yourself up from the chair. Once you are standing, you can start walking. The problem with both wheelchairs and walkers is that they are almost impossible to use on public transport. That is why when I have to go out in my wheelchair or using a walker, I use Serra Medical Transportation, the best of all the walker transportation services in Daly City.

A very pleasant experience with Serra Medical Transportation as the driver was punctual, helpful, and knew how to handle the physically challenged. We will definitely use their services in the future too!
