From the Owyens, the Hess’ and the Kass’ families and now to David and Doreen Cook and family, service with the family touch continues.David was born and raised in Waterloo, Iowa and Doreen was born in Pullman, Washington and later moved with her family to settle in Placerville, California.David graduated from The University of Utah and The San Francisco College of Mortuary Science where he served as student body president. He also volunteered to serve a two year/ full-time mission for his church in the Sacramento, California area.Cook Family Funeral Home is not one of the larger corporate firms, but a smaller family funeral home with a quaint country feel. We bring funeral service back to simpler times, our family serving your family. Our funeral home offers facilities for viewings and smaller funeral and memorial services.
