The digital revolution in photography has changed the way we look at images. It also changed the way we feel about them. No longer are we satisfied with just looking at the printed version of our memories, we want to use them in a hundred different ways. From e-mail and websites or T-shirts and coffee mugs, we want to use our images in many more ways than a “traditional” photographer would allow. We want to photocopy them, crop them, enlarge them, or add them together. Then we want to share them with family and friends near and far. But there have always been all kinds of restrictions and copyrights that prevent you from getting the full enjoyment from images taken of you or for you.
