Dr Suman Bijlani, MD, DGO, FCPS, is a leading gynaecologist, sonologist and laparoscopic surgeon at Kohinoor Hospital, Kurla (W), Guru Nanak Hospital, Bandra East, Fauziya Hospital, Kurla (W) and at her own nursing home, Suraj. She is a practising gynaecologist for the past 19 years after having passed from the prestigious KEM Hospital. She has delivered more than 10,000 babies to date. She has now specialised in advanced endoscopic surgery and infertility treatment. She is also trained in advanced ultrasound in gynaecology and infertility.Dr. Suman has been part of various health education seminars and camps in the city of Mumbai for colleges, institutions, corporates and clubs, notably, SNDT Women{s University, HR College, Essar, TCS, Rotary Club, among others. Dr. Suman has written health articles for leading magazines and newspapers, including Bombay Times, Mumbai Mirror, Medgate Today, Mother and Baby and Express Health Care Magazine. She has conducted various health awareness programs on radio in Mumbai. She is active in gynaecologists{ conferences and has written reviews in international journals and a chapter in a textbook.Despite being a busy gynaecologist, she has taken to online and clinical counselling for women to provide guidance.
