COURSE STRUCTURE
Dhisai offers a 1.5 year certificate program for school students who have cleared their 10th exam and are in their 11th grade. A 1 year certificate program is designed for the students who have cleared their 11th std and have just entered into their 12th. Furthermore short term and crash courses are also conducted based on the students requirements.
The two term certificate program is for the students doing their 9th and 10th standard. It introduces the students to the design fundamentals like the Elements & Principles of design intensively to the core. It also covers the basics of art & design education. The 2 term program would give the students enough time to practice and hone their skills before they appear for their entry level tests.
The one term certificate program is for the students doing their 12th standard. It introduces the students to the design fundamentals like the Elements & Principles of design intensively to the core. It also covers the basics of art & design education. The 1 term program would give the students adequate time to practice introduce concepts and hone their skills before they appear for their entry level tests.
The two term certificate program is for the students doing their 2nd year of Engineering or 3rd yr of Architecture. The portfolio design and development program is for candidates who have completed their UG and are applying for their PG degrees either in India or abroad. This program will introduce concentrated design briefs for the students to develop a project. The briefs are designed to kindle the creativity and develop and structured design thinking process. By the end of the program the candidates would have a consolidated portfolio in hand.
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture.The short term course prepares students on the basics required to perform with confidence in the entrance exams.
