Tim Cummings Guitar Studio is a home based teaching facility for guitar and electric bass guitar lessons in the Winnipeg area. All lessons are prepared and taught by myself personally.I have been a full time guitarist and instructor since 1972 and this studio has been in existence since 1991.As a guitarist, my main discipline and activities are focused on the Jazz guitar and other instrumental styles related to it.As a teacher, my approach caters to the specific needs and interests of my students (E.g. Pop and Rock) with an emphasis on the musical principles and fundamentals common to all styles of music.My students range from 7 years to adult, beginner to advanced levels. Thanks to a continued support from the Manitoba School Band Directors over the years, I have had the privilege of working with many promising young guitarists from their Jazz Band Programs.I have had many wonderful performing opportunities and teaching experiences that have spanned four decades.
