Our contacts in the electrical and carpentry trades, as well as an excavating company make your biggest jobs a breeze.Your furnace fan pulls the air from your house via the return air grills, through the filter, across the heat exchanger and sends the newly re-heated air back through your home. If your filter is dirty it is harder for the fan to pull air through it. If there isn’t enough air movement, the thermostat keeps calling for more heat and the unit runs longer and longer. If the furnace interior heats up due to lack of sufficient air movement it may shut down the burner on the hi-limit temperature safety device. After a few minutes the hi-limit closes again and the burner fires up, and the ugly cycle goes on. The potential damage to the furnace fan or other internal working parts is very high, not to mention the electrical and fuel consumption.
