Guardian Ambulance Ltd. is a private, family owned company that has been operating in Central Alberta for over 40 Years. We provide Advanced and Basic Life Support for Emergency Services and Hospital Transfers.The Mission of the EMS staff of Guardian Ambulance Ltd. is to provide safe, timely transportation, and care to the sick and injured.Functioning as a group of allied health professionals, we are specifically trained to assist the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of the critically ill or injured patient requiring Basic Life Support or Advanced Life Support in the pre-hospital setting.The three major component so of our Service are:1. Emergency Medical Services2. Inter-Hospital Transportation3. EMS Management ConsultingGoverned by a board of shareholders, Guardian Ambulance Ltd., on behalf of Alberta Health Services, assures that the mechanisms are in place to allow the Management Team to assume the daily operational responsibilities of the service while maintaining the goals and objectives of Alberta Health Services.
