Steve{s Pest Management was formed on May 1st, 2003 in Chatham Ontario by Steve Peltier. Although Steve{s is a small company in a small city, Steve{s prides itself in its experience and extensive training and continues to use the motto "The Small Company, With Big Results". Steve is a second generation exterminator with 35 years experience in the pest management field. Steve has an extensive background in pest management including serving as President of the Structural Pest Management Association of Ontario as well as the President of the Canadian Pest Management Association. Steve also gained international experience serving on the Board of Directors of the National Pest Management Association of America. Steve has certificates in AIB Food Safety and Hygiene, AIB Quality Control Sanitarian, Pest Control Technology from Purdue University, Termite Control and Biology from Texas A&M, Pesticide Safe Handling and Storage from the University of Guelph and Pesticide Vendor Certification from Ridgetown College. Steve is currently licensed by the Ministry of Environment for most types of pesticide application, including "Aquatic Vegetation Exterminator", "Mosquito/Biting Fly Exterminator" and "Structural Exterminator".Technicians for Steve{s Pest Management are government licensed by the Ministry of Environment and are constantly upgrading their knowledge through in-house training as well as industry sponsored seminars and training programs. Technicians are required to achieve certification in Pest Management Technology from Purdue University.Office staff combine personal service with experience, with both Steve{s mother (Marilyn) and daughter (Stephanie) working in the office to answer questions and offer immediate solutions.
