Ken has earned too many accolades over the years in his profession to list individually. He has earned the Craftsman and Master of Photographic Arts designations from the Professional Photographers of Canada. He has won many print show merits, best in category awards and "Photographer of the Year" award twice, while a member of the Saskatchewan branch of PPOC. He has also won five Kodak Gallery Awards. The part that Ken is most proud of thru-out these print accomplishments is that every print award comes from a "regular session" - nothing set up for the judges and no models! He has also earned Accreditations in the fields that he specializes in.Aside from these measuring methods, professional photography is unregulated, so a potential client may have a difficult time determining whether the photographer they have chosen is qualified for the work expected. Accreditation and designations from PPOC serve to show you, the client, that you can trust the professional qualifications and standards that the photographer works to.Ken has been a supporter and member in good standing of the Professional Photographers of Canada for decades. He has contributed on the board in many positions and most recently was President of the Professional Photographers of Canada{s Manitoba branch for the past two years. Ken accepted the important position of Chairman of the Board for the national professional photographic organization, PPOC, three years ago and is now the Past Chair of that association. It is very exciting to work with an organization of your peers that are trying to better the profession as a whole.Eileen began her career in social services with a degree from University of Manitoba. She joined Ken full time in the business twenty-four years ago and her design influence is clearly visible in all the images they create together. They are truly a photographic team! She works on location and in the studio and photographs weddings in partnership with Ken. Most of the expert retouching/image enhancement and all of the album designs are created by Eileen.Ken & Eileen are also members of a group of photographic artists called the International Fellowship of Portrait Artists.
