Nena Nedev is passionate about her work, her family and investing in her children{s future. Nena was born and raised in Serbia, but left the country in 1993 to join her parents in Canada. She arrived in Ottawa with a suitcase in one hand, a few hundred dollars in her pocket and the determination to make a life in her new home. True to her character and undeterred by hard work, Nena threw herself into learning English and the Canadian way of life.During Nena{s first few years in Ottawa, she joined a cleaning company and worked in different residences, including the Governor General{s mansion. For the next ten years Nena worked in the private sector, gradually working her way up to team leader at JDS Uniphase, where she supervised over 100 employees. In 2005, she left the corporate world to work full time with Final Touch Cleaning Services, a business she founded with her husband Boris in 2004. For Nena, returning to the cleaning business was a decision grounded on her past experience in cleaning. It was a step that helped her get back to the work she loved and one in which she excelled.
