Greenwith Child Care Centre is a fully accredited and approved Long Day Care Centre offering quality care.We are committed to providing stimulating learning activities based on each child{s individual strengths, needs and interests. Our aim is to provide a quality care and learning environment that is responsive to the needs of each child and their family, which incorporates a child{s social, emotional and physical development.Kindergarten CurriculumOur Centre participates in the Australian Government{s Universal Access Scheme which is a commitment to provide 15 hours of quality educational programs.Our Kindergarten curriculum is run by teachers with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education and can be accessed by children through the Universal Access scheme when they turn four years of age. The sessions are run daily from 8.45am to 4.45pm but children can access Kindergarten outside of these times to cater for our working families.Additional Services ProvidedOur Centre has been awarded the Start Right Eat Right Award which ensures that children receive their daily nutritional intake through a 4 week rotating seasonal roster, that also caters for all special dietary requirements.Being a Sun Smart Centre means that our policies are approved by the Cancer Council of South Australia.We are Asthma Friendly and all staff have adequate training in detecting symptoms of asthma and treating a potential attack.Inclusive Directions participationPolicies and ProceduresUpon enrolment parents receive a comprehensive parent booklet detailing all our policies and procedures including Illness, Illness prevention and Medication.The orientation process ensures a great beginning for the ongoing relationship between the Centre and families. Before children commence care, families and children are encouraged to visit and become familiar with the Centre.Our open door policy ensures that parents can observe and participate in children{s activities at any time.
