About

A community owned, not for profit charity caring for the aged, disabled, those with dementia, or who are otherwise disadvantaged
Our founder, Ron Lockwood, the then Mayor of Bankstown, identified a need for aged care services in the area. His original vision was to - "Provide quality aged care for the residents of the City of Bankstown who are too frail or sick to live in their own home. There would be a very special emphasis on people who are financially disadvantaged".
The Betty Sussman Centre is a dementia day centre. Our clients are provided with activities designed to meet their social, physical and psychological needs, whilst providing their carers the opportunity to take a break from the demands of their caring role. The centre is available to people who have a diagnosis of dementia and live within the Bankstown area.
