Peninsula Cake Art was established in 2005 by cake designer Janine Loritsch. Janine’s background in art and design together with a passion for baking and sugar craft has ensured her a place as one of the Mornington Peninsula’s leading cake designers.Whilst growing up Janine was often found in the garden on a summer’s day making mud pies for her father, she would prettily decorate them with daisies from her mother’s garden. Janine has come a long way since those childhood days, and now creates the beautiful wedding cakes and uniquely inspired novelty birthday cakes that Peninsula Cake Art, as preferred wedding cake supplier for many venues on the Mornington Peninsula, is renowned for, giving couples the confidence that their cake will be beautiful, delicious and unique.Peninsula Cake Art won 3rd Place in the Victorian ABIA Awards – ‘2013 Cake Designer of the Year’ and has been featured in various publications including:    Bride to Be – Wedding Cakes Annual 2009/2010    Womans Day 2010 – Article featuring Olympic Gold Medalist , Alisa Camplin’s and Oliver Warner’s wedding day    Melbourne Bride 2012 ‘Real Life Weddings’ – Feature Wedding Kylie and Matthew LangPeninsula Cake Art is a registered business. All food is prepared in our fully equipped commercial kitchen strictly within the Food Safety Guidelines. Recipes range from rich chocolate mud cakes and full-bodied fruit cakes to a delicate orange and poppy seed cake. Gluten free recipes are also available upon request. Peninsula Cake Art has perfected each recipe with care and attention only using the highest quality ingredients. We support local farmers by using free range eggs and no added preservatives. This ensures great tasting cakes every time!
