Established in 1995 in the Bayside village of Sandringham, Without Pier Gallery moved to new premises 3 kilometres east in Cheltenham in 2006. The gallery has developed an enviable reputation as a specialist in contemporary Australian art. The Gallery offers an eclectic range of art and artefacts from renowned and rising Australian and Aboriginal artists.

Without Pier is committed to some of the highest artistic standards and professionalism, and actively encourages the development of new and emerging Australian artists. All staff can provide information about pieces exhibited and their artists and printed biographical information on artists is available. The gallery hosts informal seminars about collecting Australian art.

The gallery will specifically commission works, advising clients on the artwork required or working in conjunction with the clients{ commercial architects and interior designers. Artists are sourced to match out clients{ corporate style and identity. Gifts and awards can be individually packaged and delivered to any destination in Australia.
