Add-On Air Conditioning provides cooled, filtered and dehumidified air throughout the rooms of your home.Air from inside the house is drawn and filtered through a return air grille; it then passes through an indoor cooling coil where the heat in the air is transferred to refrigerant. The cooled and dehumidified air passes through the ductwork and into the rooms via the ceiling or floor vents. The heat given off by the air passing through the indoor coil is carried by the refrigerant to an outdoor unit where it is dissipated to the outside air.Zoning.For even greater efficiency in using your Ducted Heating and Add-On Air Conditioning systems, you can upgrade to include zoning. With this zoning option you can have different temperatures in up to 4 separate zones. If you{re not using a section of your home you can turn the zone off completely thus saving money on running costs. Installation of zoning is easier and more-cost effective when the system is first installed.
